We have some sograsada croquettes, some ziquini flower, potatoes bravas, ox tail and secreto the is a pork cut, personally I love the flower was really tasty, the bravas have. A touch of smoked flavour probably from the paprika, all this we make them happend whit a Txakoli the is a dry wine the help us to continue drinking later on and don't make the meal heavy. I enjoy the experience y will come back in another occasion. Recommended.

This was my first time eating at Barrafina, but definitely not the last. The staff was polite and helpful. The food was amazing. Really fresh seafood, and the crispy ox cheek fritters are to die for. Booking is advised as it is really busy. It is counter tables only, but this makes it feel more intimate and friendly.

This is probably the best quality food I've had in a while. You're seated at a bar stool facing the counter inwards, where the chefs and hosts are all working in front of you. It's a well oiled machine (ignoring the fact the computer system was down that day, and they had to do all the receipts and orders by hand ) - with great attention to detail on the fresh produce. The red mullet surprised me, as it was only the top that was charred with a burner. The silky sauce went so well with it. The squid ink rice with sea food was like an incredible paella, with the seafood all cooked perfectly, and not chewy in the slightest. The tortilla - let's just say I didn't know tortilla was meant to have a soft gooey middle (and it was so good). Always had bricks before but this one was amazing. The iberico pork was nice; for my taste needed more salt, but they provide a grinder, so this was perfect - again, perfectly cooked. The cod stuffed in peppers, ox cheek fritters and ham and cheese croquettes were all equally amazing too. All had the flavours popping out from good ingredients, and all cooked perfectly, served with accompanying sauces that compliment it just right. It's an expensive place, but definitely worth it as a rare treat based on my experience.

Barrafina is the kind of place that makes you wonder why you would ever bother cooking at home. I worked my way through a generous chunk of the menu, but the tortilla classic and the meltingly tender ox cheeks were nothing short of life-affirming. The tortilla, with its perfectly gooey centre, could probably solve minor diplomatic crises, while the ox cheeks were so rich and flavourful. The service was slick and friendly, and watching the chefs in action at the counter added to the buzz. If you’re after a masterclass in Spanish tapas with just the right amount of theatre, Barrafina delivers in spades.

Strongly recommend the tortilla, absolutely incredible. Also the Carma Catallo. Lovely food, lovely service. Lots of fun eaching at the counter.

Excellent Spanish tapas served counter style where all the cooking happens in front of you. Food and service were great. Two of us. We ordered 8 dishes and were stuffed. Too full for dessert. I will be back next time I’m in London.

I had the most amazing experience at Barrafina yesterday! From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by a delightful atmosphere and treated to scrumptious food that was nothing short of extraordinary. I had attempted to go for Valentine's Day but, due to its well-deserved popularity, I couldn't secure a table. So, take my advice—be sure to join the waiting list before you visit! Ryan and the entire Barrafina team made us feel incredibly welcome, turning our meal into a memorable adventure. If you want to sit at the counter and soak in a beautiful symphony of creativity and joy, this place is a must-visit! A huge thank you to everyone at Barrafina for such a wonderful experience! Cheers! P.S. Don't miss out on the tuna tartare and the mackerel—they were our absolute favorites!

Delicious, innovative flavours. Particularly loved the red mullet on parsnip puree and the fried aubergine with honey. Excellent, friendly service. Highly recommend!
